Above: The UHF aerial section stripped of the fibre-glass panels and aerials, leaving just the supporting lattice framework.  Shortly after these images were taken, the framework was un-bolted and lifted to ground by helicopter.    

 


 

The next two images show the fibre-glass panels stacked on the ground.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

The following images show the new 9-tier multi-panel aerial and the assembly for securing it at the base.  Three days after these images were taken, the two assemblies were separately lifted by helicopter to the top of the mast where the team of riggers received and secured them into position.
