Main UHF (analogue cylinder replacement)

Reserve UHF (*)

BBC National FM Band II

(*) Upper four-tier (with recessed second and third tiers) added for Digital Switchover - the lower four-tier was pre-existing      for pre-DSO digital service.  Note the different directional characteristics between the two sets, the original pre-DSO set      based on alternate matching between tiers and the new installation based on inner and outer matching.

Below: Near the bottom of the mast is a fairly typical group of receiving aerials and distribution dishes.  The receiving aerials are pointing north-west towards Rosemarkie, whilst the main dish points south-east towards Durris.  A forwarding dish pointing in the direction of Rosemarkie is located higher-up the mast immediately below the FM Band II as per the image above-right.
