Due to the western coastline location of this station, significant power in the westerly direction is unnecessary. It is also undesirable with regards to unwanted reception across Ireland, particularly bearing in mind that this station is co-channel with Divis on the PSB multiplexes.
The pre-DSO non-westerly-facing four-tier set of digital panels (which at the time of these images in July 2011 had not been expanded upon post-DSO) is the most visible indicator of power limitation in this direction.
