Above Left: The Crown Castle sign near the site gate was photographed in this vandalised and 'felled' condition back in August 2003 - almost like a warning of what was to come. It was still laying this way in June 2004, although ironically it appears to have been upright at the time of the mast collapse. Above Right: An old BBC perimeter sign. These still exist also at Divis, Meldrum, Pontop Pike and Sandale. |
